Each instrument should be warmed up for an hour prior
to the calibration using the same AC outlets that will be used during the
calibration in order to prevent destabilization by unplugging and moving
the instrument.

NIST Calibration Equipment List It is important to note the DUT board used. Do not use adapter type DUT boards as the power supply sense lines are not connected to the DUT power on these boards. Most labs have cooling systems, often with floor vents. If your air conditioning turns on and off you should position the test system and instruments so that they are out of drafts to insure stability during the procedure.
